August 2023 Seminar

At the heart of each of our Grace seminars is understanding the Scriptures in light of the fullness of Jesus Christ (our Treasure and Passion!) and His everlasting and unshakable kingdom. These seminars are designed to show that every topic rightly viewed is tied directly to the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in which we boast – a gospel which from the cross of Christ blazes forth the glory of God in blinding brightness for those who have been given sight.

This August we will be looking at Gabriel’s Prophecy of the 70 Weeks from Daniel chapter 9.

For many, the very name of Daniel brings up associations of the fiery furnace, the lion’s den, or songs like, “Dare to be a Daniel.” However, if the book of Daniel is simply seen as a mysterious book with some fascinating stories, it will be a veiled book to us. How does this writing fit into the unfolding story of Jesus. It is my desire that you will see that the prophecy we will study has everything to do with the gospel that proclaims God’s purpose through Christ “to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross.” 

For this seminar we are hoping to gather over the course of three dates. We are going to cap each of the dates to around 24-30 people per session, so if you want to come sign up soon.

The seminar will run on the evenings of August 24 and August 29, 2023 from 6:30-9:30pm and the Saturday morning of August 26th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Upper Room (401 43rd Street, Saskatoon)
